Agency Overview:

Family Service Agency has been helping improve the quality of life for people in Sonoma County since 1963. We are the oldest non-profit mental health clinic in the county, providing affordable psychotherapy and psycho-educational group treatment to a wide spectrum of our community. Our clients range from 5 years old to 105 years old. In 2008 we provided over 6,000 hours of therapy; a third of those sessions were provided by bilingual therapists.

Our services include treating children who have witnessed or experienced violence; teaching domestic violence offenders more adaptive life skills to cope with stress and achieve healthier family dynamics; providing general therapy for individuals, families and groups; increasing therapy for monolingual/bilingual Spanish speakers in our growing Latino community; training the next generation of compassionate therapists; and providing free support to seniors to promote successful aging.
